JOB SUMMARY
To perform ultrasound procedures on patients for the purpose of achieving accurate patient diagnosis so as to ensure a high quality of healthcare in a dynamic private hospital environment.
Sonographer
KEY FUNCTIONS
Must be able to perform all types of scans including but not limited to abdominal, breast, pelvic, prostate, obstetrics, renal, vascular/doppler, superficial/musculoskeletal and thyroid ultrasounds.
Assists in ultrasound guided biopsies.
Able to perform bedside scans on the Ward, Operating Theatre and EmergencyDepartment.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
First Degree or Associate Degree from a recognized University OR
Certificate of Completion of Studies in Ultrasound, Sonographical Sciences or specialized field.
At least 3 years’ experience in Ultrasonography.
