Dr. Ramnarine completed specialist Neurosurgical training in the United Kingdom and worked as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol. He also completed fellowships in complex spine surgery and neuro-oncology surgery.
He returned to Trinidad and Tobago in 2013 where he is the Clinical Lead for Neurosurgery at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex. He was appointed to the post of lecturer in Neurosurgery at the University of the West Indies in 2016 and coordinates the post graduate training program in Neurosurgery.
He has worked at St Augustine Private Hospital since 2014.
