Why should I choose SAPH for learning?

Get the opportunity to learn in a professional clinical space from doctors, registered nurses and specialists.

How can I register for one of the programs?

Students are required to register online via our website. Once you have been shortlisted, applicants will be contacted via email with an acceptance letter and payment form. The student must accept the offer to enroll and will be given instructions on completing payment to be registered.

I’m not sure I meet the qualifications, can I still apply?

We suggest completing a registration form (with no obligation) if you wish to determine your eligibility for any of our programs. Once completed with all your certificates and supplementary experience, you will be contacted by a representative of the department with next steps.

What type of certification would I get at the end of my program?

At the end of the program, you would get a Certificate of Achievement, which would allow you to practice in any private hospital in Trinidad and Tobago.

Due to the program being so comprehensive it can be used as a launching pad to enter the Registered Nurse program.

Can I apply to multiple programs?

We strongly suggest giving one program at a time your attention, so as to ensure maximum competency and best outcome.

When do I need to pay my registration fee?

The registration fee is due upon confirmation that you are successful after review of all documents and upon accepting the offer to enroll.

Are immunizations required?

Proof of vaccinations (e.g., Hepatitis B, Mantoux screen) is typically mandatory for clinical placements. Our hospital will support in getting (Mantoux screen).

Does the program help with job placement?

No, not at this time.

Will other programs be offered?

Of course, as we learn and grow, we will offer additional programs in the future.

Are the programs accredited?

We are an internationally accredited institution however, the courses are not yet accredited by ACTT. We have registered for the programs to become accredited but assessment can only be done by ACTT during the program delivery.

Is registration open to regional and international candidates?

Regional or international candidates are free to register however all programs currently offered are of a hybrid learning model (in person and online). Please contact us if you are a student outside of Trinidad & Tobago for further information.
